I am a Brooklyn-based journalist, writer, and audio producer. Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I moved to New York City in 2017.
Most recently, I worked as a transportation reporting fellow for Insider, where I wrote about trucks, freight, and how to make our infrastructure more resilient.
Before joining Insider, I worked as a financial reporter for ION Group’s Inframation, covering private financing in infrastructure. I’ve also worked as a news assistant for Planet Money, NPR’s business podcast, an assistant producer for Wondery, and as a fact-checker for NewsGuard. You can find my words on NPR, Rolling Stone, Inframation, and La Cucina Italiana among others, and I occasionally work as a fact-checker for Foreign Affairs.
I’m part of the original team behind the online publication The Submarine, for which I co-created the feminist podcast Chiamando Eva, and wrote the travel blog, then turned into an e-book, Eva in Viaggio.
I have a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Bristol.
War and Peace is the best book I’ve ever read — I nurture a deep and shameless love for My Chemical Romance — I listen to WNYC the rest of the time.
